Steal a Brainrot is one of the biggest games on Roblox, and one of the simplest to understand: buy ridiculous meme creatures, let them print cash in your base, and steal better ones from everyone else — while they try to steal yours. This guide covers everything a new player needs: how the game loop works, the rarity tiers, how stealing and base defence really work, when to rebirth, and the fastest ways to get rich. If you came for codes, jump straight to our Steal a Brainrot codes page — every working code is checked there daily.
▶ Play Steal a Brainrot on Roblox
Brainrots walk down the Red Carpet in the middle of the map. Buy one and it is delivered to a slot in your base, where it earns you cash every second, forever, until someone takes it. The rarer the Brainrot, the more it earns — and the more every other player wants it. That tension is the whole game: your base is your bank, and it is only safe while it is locked.
Stand at the Red Carpet and buy the best Brainrot you can afford. Early on, anything is fine — income starts the second it reaches your base.
Collect the cash your Brainrots generate and reinvest it in better ones. Replace cheap Brainrots as soon as a higher-rarity one is affordable.
Lock your base. The lock keeps thieves out for a limited time — re-apply it whenever you return to your base, every single time.
Steal. Watch for unlocked bases, grab a Brainrot, and carry it back to your own base. You move slower while carrying, and the owner will chase you — plan your route home before you grab.
Rebirth when progress slows down (explained below) to earn faster forever.
Every Brainrot has a rarity tier, and the tier decides its income per second. Higher tiers appear on the carpet far less often and cost much more — that scarcity is exactly why players steal them instead of waiting.
| Tier | What it means |
|---|---|
| Common | Starter Brainrots. Cheap, everywhere, low income — sell and replace them early. |
| Rare | A small step up. Fine for your first hour, not worth protecting. |
| Epic | Where income starts to feel real. Worth keeping until Legendaries arrive. |
| Legendary | Serious earners, and the first tier thieves actively hunt for. |
| Mythic | Rare spawns with high income. Lock your base when you own one. |
| Brainrot God | Among the strongest regular spawns in the game — characters like Tralalero Tralala and Bombardiro Crocodilo live at this level of the roster. |
| Secret | The rarest tier of all. Secret Brainrots such as La Vacca Saturno Saturnita earn the most cash per second and are the number-one theft target. |
Anyone can walk into an unlocked base, pick up a Brainrot and run. While carrying, you are slower and defenceless, and the owner (and everyone else) can slap you to make you drop it. Good thieves watch bases whose owners have wandered off, grab the best Brainrot, and take the shortest line home. Good defenders do three things: keep the base locked, stay close when a rare Brainrot is on display, and keep a slap tool ready for anyone hovering near the entrance. Most "I lost everything" stories are just an expired lock — the lock timer running out is the number one cause of theft, not skilled thieves.
Rebirthing resets your cash and your Brainrots, and in return gives you a permanent income multiplier and a longer base lock. It feels painful the first time, but the multiplier applies to everything you earn afterwards, so you rebuild faster than you climbed the first time — and the longer lock means your new, better Brainrots are safer. The right moment is when the required cash is easy for you to reach and your income has flattened: if you can earn the rebirth cost back quickly, rebirth now rather than hoarding.
1. Buy income per second, not looks. A boring Brainrot that earns more beats a funny one that earns less. Check the earning rate before every purchase.
2. Replace Commons ruthlessly. Base slots are limited. A slot holding a Common is a slot that could hold an Epic.
3. Treat the lock as a habit. Lock when you arrive, lock before you leave, lock after you steal. No exceptions.
4. Steal from absent owners. The best target is a rich base whose owner is across the map. Never grab from a base whose owner is standing in it.
5. Learn on quiet servers. Smaller servers mean fewer thieves and more time to practise stealing routes. Build up there, then move to busy servers to hunt.
6. Rebirth on schedule. Every rebirth compounds. Players who rebirth early and often end up richer than players who cling to one base.
7. Play during events. Update and admin events send rare Brainrots down the carpet far more often than normal play. An hour at an event can beat a week of waiting.
8. Redeem codes instantly. Steal a Brainrot codes have a limited number of total uses across all players, so a code can die within hours. When one drops, redeem it first and play after — the current list is on our Steal a Brainrot codes page.

Yes. Steal a Brainrot is free on Roblox. Everything that matters — buying Brainrots, stealing, and rebirthing — can be done without spending Robux; paid items only speed things up or add convenience.
Secret is the rarest tier, above Brainrot God. Secret Brainrots such as La Vacca Saturno Saturnita earn the most cash per second and are the main targets for thieves, so keep your base locked when you own one.
Almost always because another player stole it while your base was unlocked. Your base lock only lasts for a limited time, and it drops when you leave your base area — re-lock it every time you come back, and never leave a rare Brainrot unguarded.
Yes, and faster than in most games: Steal a Brainrot codes stop working after a limited number of total redemptions across all players, not just on a date. Redeem a new code the moment you see it, and stand at the Red Carpet first — the reward spawns there and you must buy it before someone else does.
