Blox Fruits is Roblox's biggest anime RPG: a One Piece-inspired voyage across three Seas, powered by devil-fruit abilities, swords and fighting styles. It is also a marathon — hundreds of levels per Sea — so knowing the efficient route matters more than raw playtime. This guide covers how progression, fruits and Haki work and how to level without wasting hours. For free 2x EXP boosts and stat resets, keep our Blox Fruits codes page bookmarked.
You level up by completing quests — every island has a quest giver whose targets match your level — and spend stat points on Melee, Defense, Sword, Gun or Blox Fruit. Eating a Blox Fruit gives you its powers permanently (until you eat a different one), and the fruit you choose shapes your whole build. Progress is split across three Seas, each with its own islands, bosses and level range; finishing one Sea's story unlocks the next.
First Sea: always take the quest before fighting. Quest enemies give far more EXP than free grinding, and the quest chain walks you island to island in the right order.
Pick a direction early. Fruit builds want points in Blox Fruit; sword and melee builds want their own stats. Spread points are weak points — and resets are limited, so plan first (codes provide the free resets).
Unlock the Second Sea (around level 700, after its unlock quest) for better quests, fighting-style upgrades and fruit awakening later on.
Unlock the Third Sea (around level 1500) — the current endgame, with raids, awakened fruits, race evolution and the strongest bosses.
Work on Haki and your race in parallel with leveling (next sections) — endgame content assumes you have both.
Fruits come in three families: Elemental (Logia-style) fruits grant elemental bodies that many enemies cannot even hit, making them superb for leveling; Beast (Zoan-style) fruits transform you with big damage and mobility; Natural (Paramecia-style) fruits offer unique mechanics, from strings and portals to pure destructive power. Rarer fruits cost millions of Beli from the dealer or spawn in the world on a timer. Two rules save beginners a lot of pain: eating a new fruit permanently replaces the old one, and a physical fruit you are carrying can be lost — store valuable fruits or eat with intention.
Two Haki abilities underpin every serious build: Observation Haki lets you dodge attacks and see enemies through walls and at range, and Armament Haki coats your attacks to hit Elemental users and adds damage and defence. Both are bought from their teachers and then trained by using them. Your race (Human, Shark, Angel, Rabbit, Ghoul, Cyborg) adds its own passive strengths and can be evolved through its V2–V4 quest lines in the later Seas — V4 awakenings are among the strongest upgrades in the game.
1. Never grind without a quest. The single biggest speed rule in Blox Fruits. Quests multiply your EXP per hour several times over.
2. Stack 2x EXP codes before long sessions. EXP codes do not stack above 2x, but redeeming several one after another extends the timer — bank a long boost, then play it all in one focused session.
3. Use an Elemental fruit for leveling. Enemies that cannot hit you cannot slow you down. Many top PvP fruits are mediocre for grinding; level with the farmer, fight with the duelist.
4. Server-hop fruit spawns and bosses. Fruits spawn in the world on a timer and bosses respawn — a fresh server is often the fastest route to both.
5. Spend Beli on what compounds: fighting styles, Haki and a good fruit first. Cosmetics and boats can wait until your income is high.
6. Do not eat a rare fruit on impulse. Check its value and fit for your build first. A stored rare fruit is wealth; an eaten one is a commitment.

For leveling, an Elemental fruit that enemies cannot hit is best. For PvP and endgame, awakened and rare fruits lead — but the strongest fruit changes with updates and depends on your build. Choose for the job you are doing now, not a tier list's forever answer.
Redeeming an EXP code starts (or extends) a 2x EXP timer. The multiplier never goes above 2x, but multiple codes redeemed back-to-back add their time together, which is why players redeem several before a long grinding session.
The Second Sea unlocks around level 700 through its unlock quest, and the Third Sea around level 1500 through its own quest line in the Second Sea. Your level, items and stats carry over — the Seas are chapters of one journey, not fresh starts.
Only with a plan: decide your build (fruit, sword, or melee main), then reset and put points accordingly. Resets mainly come from codes, so a wasted reset can mean weeks with a broken build.
